perhaps Grumpy?

Ed:  I rear-ended a car this morning. So there we are alongside the road and slowly the driver gets out of the car . . . and you know how you just get sooo stressed and life seems to get funny?

Ed:  Well, I could NOT believe it . . he was a DWARF! He storms over to my car, looks up at me and says, "I AM NOT HAPPY!"

Ed:  So, I look down at him and say, "Well, which one are you then?"... and THAT'S when the fight started . .

23 Stunning Photos of the Earth

These shots are amazing and include some great descriptions for context and appreciation. I included one of them below as an example along with it's description. Follow the link for the other 22.

"This highly detailed image from the Taiwanese Formosat-2 satellite shows the different sizes, shapes, and textures of ice fragments from an ice shelf on the Antarctic Peninsula on March 8, 2008. Several large icebergs float amid a mosaic of smaller pieces of ice. The level of detail in the image is so great that it can seem as though you are standing over a scale model made out of papier-mâché and foam blocks. The detail can make the bergs seem deceptively small. In reality, some of the large bergs are several hundred meters (yards) long. Unaired SNL skit - Ann Coulter

I saw this one come through one of my feeds and had to laugh. Ann is a common target for good reason but I thought I would add in a real life clip for contrast.

Ann versus Al -

On a side note, I really look forward to the perspective that Al Franken brings. He is a tad long winded but will be very fun to watch. I wonder what is in the water in Minnesota. The same state elected this man as guv.

My new favorite person from Texas - 88 year old Gladys Hardy

I don't watch any of the daytime shows and was hesitant to watch an Ellen clip but I must say that this exceeded my expectations. Gladys Harding is 88 and from Austin Texas. It takes a couple minutes to warm up but I found it to be worth it.. She is an absolute doll. I wish I knew her number, I would call her.

Apparently, she has her own website now -

Fun with passed out friends

This dude is going to have extremely dry eyes when he wakes up, painfully dry. I remember doing things to my friends when they passed out. There is something kinda spooky about the way his eyes just don't move.
